Two World Premieres
I have two world premieres back-to-back this summer that I want to share with you, along with some exciting performances in Europe:
JULY 7, LONDON:
In Aeternum for SATB a cappella chorus. Premiere with the BBC Singers, Eric Whitacre conducting. More information.
JULY 18, ORLANDO:
Miniature Suite – 5 short works for wind ensemble. Commissioned by Kappa Kappa Psi / Tau Beta Sigma for their National Convention Intercollegiate Band, Orlando, FL. Rick Clary conducting. More information, including perusal scores.
JULY 10, VIENNA, AUSTRIA:
Ecstatic Fanfare – The New Jersey Youth Symphony will perform Ecstatic Fanfare during their tour of Europe, including a performance at the famed Musikverein in Vienna.
JULY 15, SCHLADMING, AUSTRIA:
The 20th Mid Europe festival will feature Jerry Junkin, Kevin Sedatole, Verena Moesenbichler-Bryant, Eric Whitacre, John Mackey, Jonathan Newman, Michael Markowski, and myself as guest conductors and composers. If you’re in Austria July 12-16, come visit the festival in Schladming. The big concerts are Friday and Saturday, July 14-15. More information.
JULY 18, UTRECHT, NETHERLANDS:
Concerto for Trombone – Jörgen van Rijen, principal trombone with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the The “Johan Willem Friso” Royal Netherlands Military Band will perform my Concerto for Trombone at the WASBE conference in Utrecht, Netherlands on July 18. More information.
