Engines of Wonder – new grade 3 version!
Last year, I wrote Engines of Wonder for grade 1 band + electronic accompaniment. This was my first attempt at a true grade 1 piece (music for complete beginners). This year, the BDB Music Camp, conducted by Verena Mösenbichler-Bryant, will premiere a new grade 3 version of the same work, with an expanded instrumentation and more challenging parts for the musicians. The two versions are interchangeable, so you can mix and match them as needed! For example, if you are playing a combined band event with your beginning group and a more advanced group, you could pass out the appropriate difficult level for each group.
Engines of Wonder, grade 3 version, will be available here on my website as a PDF download in mid-August, shortly after the premiere on August 7th, in Staufen, Germany.
