The Machine Awakes – Durham Medical [virtual] Orchestra
The Durham Medical Orchestra, conducted by Verena Moesenbichler-Bryant, made a virtual orchestra recording of my work The Machine Awakes, and we’d love to share it with you! This is particularly special since many of these musicians are directly on the forefront of combating this pandemic. Verena did the extraordinary job of organizing the logistics, editing the video, and of course conducting! Hope you enjoy this! PS: Aside from the electronics track that’s a part of the piece, there’re no additional sampled instruments playing along – this is completely and ONLY the musicians you see in the video!
