Steven Bryant

This Duet started as an exercise in writing patient, unadorned music that allows the performer leeway for interpretation. The original version is for two Cellos, and this version is adapted for Bb Clarinet and Cello (the lower voice retains most of the original Cello writing, though I have tweaked it a bit to accommodate the range difference in the Bb Clarinet).

There are also other versions for many other instrument combinations.
