Stadtkapelle Neunburg vorm Wald invites you to the Christmas concert

Stadtkapelle Neunburg vorm Wald once again invites you to its traditional Christmas concert in the Schwarzachtalhalle on Christmas Day. The festival concert, known far beyond the city limits, is taking place for the 41st time and promises musical diversity and special sound experiences again this year. The 60 musicians under the direction of conductor Markus Held present a festive program that revolves around the theme “Man and Machine”.

With compositions by Jacob de Haan and Benjamin Yeo, the audience is transported into the history of the typewriter and the adventures of a young pilot. Works such as “Perpetuum Mobile” by Johann Strauss and “Humanity” by Mathias Wehr span a wide range and ensure a varied musical experience. Christmas film music shouldn’t be missing either: tracks from “Home Alone” and “Polar Express” bring Christmas magic to the Schwarzachtalhalle, while fans of traditional brass music will also get their money’s worth.
