Friends, music lovers – you HAVE to come to the Keene State College Concert Band’s concert on February 22nd, 2024 at Redfern Arts Center at Keene State College. This concert will undoubtedly be one of the most moving and poignant concerts you’ll attend this year. Centered on themes of light and dark, we explore the full range of light & dark human emotions that only music can capture.

Program to include:
I Know Moonrise, by Jess Langston Turner
Synthetic Sunlight, by Steven Bryant
Theme from Schindler’s List, by John Williams
Illuminations, by Joseph Turrin

Featured faculty soloists on this concert include Jesse MacDonald playing the haunting and heartrending violin solo for Schindler’s List; and Kris Danielsen on the virtuosic trombone solo in Turrin’s Illuminations.
