Join the Ohio University Wind Symphony in the official launch of a new initiative – PROJECT AMPERSAND – which features the Wind Symphony and special guests in unconventional pairings. This year’s concert features Steven Bryant’s wind symphony + electronica masterpiece “Ecstatic Waters” and a bevy of Ohio University School of Music alumni performing world premieres. Performers include composer and inventor Turner Matthews, along with his prog-rock trio Triangulus, and the jazz-fusion band Radar Hill from Columbus. Following the concert, audience-goers are invited to Uptown Athens for a continuation of performances at local music clubs.
