Consortium – Grade 1 band + electronics
CONSORTIUM
I’m writing a new grade 1 work for band + electronics! The project was conceived of and is led by Rachel Kesar (Bellmont Middle School, IN). We would love to have you as part of the consortium for this work. Details below.

- DURATION: maximum 3’30”
Our goal is to create something with musical intent and learning, going beyond what the students already receive from method books and pieces aimed at fundamental skills. The electronic soundscape allows for a more sophisticated, full, sound world while still keeping the musical requirements within a beginner’s ability.
NOTE: The electronics involved will be designed to be as simple as possible for you to integrate, likely an app plugged directly into your PA system. If you’ve ever performed my work The Machine Awakes, it will be similar, if not the same, as that.
