Some personal advice: if you have the option between a paper ballot and an electronic voting machine, choose the paper ballot. If you must use an electronic machine, check your vote very carefully (there should be a printed ballot on the side of the machine in most cases) – there are numerous reports (as in 2004) of the machine choosing a different candidate than the one you selected. Take your time, and verify that you actually voted for whom you think you voted for.

As I mentioned last night, if you encounter ANY problems with voting, don’t hesitate to call one of these hotlines:
1-866-OUR-VOTE (1-866-687-8683)

Problems with voting machines can also be reported by calling:
1-888-SAV-VOTE (1-888-728-8683)
